Student groups
At Washington University, recognized student groups are at the heart of campus life, offering countless ways for students to get involved, build community, and explore their interests. Whether you are passionate about performing arts, cultural identity, academic enrichment, service, or just looking to try something new, there is a group for you.
Washington University offers an incredibly diverse range of student groups that reflect the wide interests of its student body. Whether you are into a cappella, anime, bridge, club sports, board games, or even yo-yoing, there is a group for you. Many of these student groups are supported by Student Union and the Office of Campus Life and host a variety of events, performances, service projects, and social gatherings throughout the year, creating countless opportunities to get involved and build community.
Getting involved is easy. Students can explore opportunities through WUGO (Washington University Group Organizer), attend the annual Activates Fair, or connect directly with Campus Life staff to find the right fit or even start a new group.
